One day audit review and workshop
- Morning –half day of cold file reviews, and
- Afternoon – half day of workshop with audit and accounting staff including feedback on the cold file review results.
This is a practical and economical way to improve audit quality and obtain valuable focused CPD hours for staff in your offices. The training may be conducted on-site or at a location of your choice. The training may be on the same day or at another time that is convenient to your firm.
As a first step, John McCarthy Consulting Limited will carry out thorough cold file reviews of your audit files.
The review process will take approximately half a day. We will review one file in detail and carry out summary reviews of two more files. We will present you with a report on our findings.
In the cold file review process, we will identify learning points and solutions to actual issues arising which will be presented and discussed in the half day workshop. We will deliver a practical session focused on your actual training needs whilst at all times, ensuring that client confidentiality is maintained.
Cold file reviews can form part of your Annual Compliance Review (ACR) procedures for compliance with regulatory requirements.
